Founded in Honolulu, Hawaii by Frank Xiong, AIA, and Justin Matoi, SE, XM Consultants (XMC) represents a seamless integration of architecture and structural engineering. With a focus on building diagnostics and repair design, we specialize in solving the complex challenges posed by Hawaii’s unique environment. Our firm combines both disciplines and our combined experiences to address Hawaii’s challenging building deterioration, failure, and repair projects. 

Our practice is rooted in technical expertise within materials, building systems, engineering principles, and application of building codes, allowing us to deliver solutions to a wide range of projects and clients. We are proud of our long-standing relationships with local contractors, AOAOs, property managers, construction managers, attorneys, and government agencies.
